On the Oct. 31-dated tallies, one of those artists also makes significant strides with his own track. Farruko’s “La Toxica” blasts from No. 31 to No. 25 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and from No. 51 to No. 38 on the Global 200, marking his first fully solo top 40 hit on the latter list.
In September, “La Toxica” debuted at No. 136 on the Global 200 and No. 158 on the Excl. U.S. chart. Every week since, except for one dip on the Oct. 17-dated charts, the song has risen the ranks.
In the latest tracking week ending Oct. 22, the song amassed 29.1 million global streams (up 16%), 26.3 million from outside the U.S.
Notably, with 90% of the song’s streaming activity from beyond the U.S., the song has yet to break into the U.S.-based Billboard Hot 100. It does, however, debut at No. 18 on the Hot 100’s latest Bubbling Under tally and climbs to No. 7 on the Hot Latin Songs chart, where two weeks earlier it became Farruko’s 10th top 10 hit.
