35 people test positive for COVID-19 in Yolo County nursing home

Yolo County officials declared a COVID-19 outbreak Monday at a nursing home as 35 people, including residents and staff, tested positive. One person also died from the virus. Everybody who tested positive at the nursing home, which county officials are not naming at this time, has been isolated and is being monitored, Yolo County said in a release. Of the 35 people, 23 of them are residents and 12 are staff members. Unfortunately, this means that people need to stay at home and not visit their loved ones.”Family members of residents at Stollwood Convalescent Hospital, which is part of St. John’s Village Senior Living Community in Woodland, said they were contacted by staff informing them of a COVID-19 outbreak.
